The Pro Skate Hockey League (PSHL) officially launched today as India's first commercially structured professional skate hockey league, anchored by eight city-based franchises across Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.
PSHL8 — the league's digital identity — codifies its eight pillars of performance: Speed, Skill, Strength, Strategy, Stamina, Spirit, Showmanship and Success. The format is engineered as a franchise system from day one, with sponsor inventory across teams, jerseys, arenas and broadcast.
"India's sports economy is in a generational franchise moment. Skate hockey is fast, photogenic and inclusive — a perfect fit for a city-franchise sport," the league office said. The inaugural season is scheduled for mid-March 2026.
